Letter to Ephesus: Faithfulness and the Call to Repent

Revelation 2:1-7

2
Chapter 2
1 To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands. 2 I know your works, your toil and endurance, and that you cannot bear evil ones. You tested those who call themselves apostles, but they are not, and you found them false. 3 You have endurance and have borne it because of my name, and you have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you: you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent, and do the first works. But if not, I am coming to you, and I will move your lampstand out of its place, if you do not repent. 6 But you have this: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 The one who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give him to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
